Project 365 – Day 45
Most of the time I smell and probably look a whole lot like a truck driver, no offense to all you big daddies out there. I really have no interest in wasting time getting all gussied up just to wash dishes and wipe snot. Excuse my colorful vernacular.
But really, there is no point.
Yet every Sunday I procrastinate the inevitable; my morning routine of digging through my aging closet trying to find a suitable outfit. Truthfully, I have no skill in the coordination dept. It’s just not my thing. And every Sunday, I dream of wearing jeans. And I could, because others do, but there is some ingrained principle here. Just don’t ask me to explain it.
So every time there is a fifth Sunday in the month, the youth and children take over the morning service and everyone dresses down.
Except me this morning.
Because I forgot about it. And it was my most uncomfortable morning ever.
Is it true that your feet grow after every child, because the shoes I was wearing this morning used to fit. There was no stretching those baby’s. I think they dipped them in liquid steel before putting them on the shelf.
Ouch.

That’s interesting that you have so many fragrances. I have 3 in my med. cabinet and only wear 1: Knowing by Estee Lauder. I started wearing it about 15-20 years ago, and I’ve had so many compliments on it, that I just stick to it.
And I agree with you on the clothes scene at church. I only wear jeans when I work in the nursery!

I’m with you. Most days, I simply look unkempt. It’s just part of the mom uniform! When I really try, you can hardly tell!
