Project 365 – Day 67

There is really no place on earth I would rather be than in the garden. Of course if that garden just happened to be located in the south of France I highly doubt you would hear me complaining, but really any garden will do.
It’s a wonder I make it through the winter cooped up in the house. As soon as I feel frustration, or worry the garden is the place I go. Looking at God’s beautiful creations has a way of making my issues seem quite trivial.

So pretty. I need a garden. I think it would calm me. And oh Lord, do I need the calming on some days!

I did some gardening today. Just planting. I might have a pink face tomorrow.

I totally appreciate plants and flowers and such but I really do despise gardening. I’m no good at it and realized as I was picking weeds with my hubby that I hate getting dirt on my hands. Seriously.
Despite that, we do put in a small garden with all the fixin’s for salsa. It looks pathetic but we usually get enough to do a few batches at least.

Hi Hallie!
I recognize the hydrangea leaf…did you say that it is a Japanese hydrangea? We have one climbing on our barn out back…very pretty and those leaves are so glossy and lovely.
You make me want to go to the farmers market! Although, rest assured, I won’t be up at 5 am…yawn!
