Keep Your Dirty Hands off My Cape

May 16, 2008

365/93

The imaginations get going when the rain starts and today was no different.  Bella came to me with my dish towel in her hand and told me she wanted to be the cartoon character Super WHY and asked if I would put it on her “like this,” holding it around her neck like a cape.  It was a bit too small to tie so I taped it.  She was delighted and took off dancing through the kitchen.

Next I hear  Sarah walk into the room and ask Bella, “Did mommy put the dish towel on you?”  Bella replied with a hesitant “yes.”  “Well come over here then, I need to wipe my hands.”

Well, I imagine that a Superhero of the Kitchen (ie- why she’d be wearing that dishtowel)…would be a tidy sort and would welcome the common folks to use her fabulous cape for an occasional hand wiping need.
Or maybe not…to much yard work. I need a Superhero at my house…which kid should I pick?

    Love you Hallie!

The Adventures of Super Squeaky Clean Girl!!!!! Too cute.

    So, where are you goin’?

My advice for keeping cutie pie occupied is: a movie, coloring supplies and snacks….I hope it’s a short flight!

I also would recommend checking whatever you can. I have many times decided to keep bags with me for fear of them being lost or damaged… only to lug them around for hours in an airport! URG! Check it…be free!
