Don’t Copy Me

Does anyone know where I can take a photography class?

Seriously.

Leave it to me to not be prepared when I come across a beautiful place.  The kind of place you don’t find too often.  Out of almost 150 photos, about 10 were viewable, but I couldn’t let the scenery go to waste, so here are the three I liked best.  Thank heavens for Photoshop.

Next time, I will make sure I have my lens hood so I won’t ruin 50 shots with serious lens flare. I will reduce the strength of my fill flash to illuminate my subject in the blasted sun, or at least use my reflector. I will capture the tons of butterflies that you don’t see - because I am a ninny.  I will bring my Teva’s so I can step on the rocks in the river without killing myself.  I will not chop of my daughter’s back half on the only decent shot of her in the water and I will bring better tools for bribing.  Lots and lots of tools.

Oh yeah…and a sandwich would be good.

That looks like a gorgeous location. I particularly like that shot in the water…even if her back half is missing. ;)

I don’t know what you are talking about. Those pictures are beautiful and full of artistic flair. They look as if you meant to capture what you did. I love the one of your daughter in the stream. You can almost feel how cool the water must have been.

What I want to know is where I can find a skirt in my size like the one your kid has. That is one fashionable little squeezie-pie you’ve got there.

Oh, Hallie, those are gorgeous shots! I’m sure you aren’t lying, but really those three shots are just wonderful! I really love that first one, especially.

I just love those photos…and the location. I took my son and daughter to a ‘shoot’ for his 2nd birthday…let’s just say he never looked at the camera…happily; and we left and got ice-dream at Chick – fil-a because my daughter kneeled down and got nearly eaten by ants…I feel your pain… :)

Even your castaway pics are GORGEOUS! Of course, it helps to have a cute as a button daughter- even if she requires bribes. Which really only says one thing. She is not only cute, but she is SMART too! LOL
