Wordless Wednesday – My Only Subscription

July 8, 2008

If you looked for Blogside Shopping today, I’m remiss for not posting, but I had a root canal and I didn’t have time to put it up.  I will do my best to get it up tomorrow.

Wow… there’s a magazine for this? Oh, what am I saying? There’s a magazine for everything, isn’t there? But intriguing… I might have to check it out some time.

    Happy WW!

You’re so cool, Hallie. Since I only have Elements, I just don’t have what it takes to utilize that one. Instead I have too many other subscriptions.

Hope you’re doing well after the root canal.

Oh poor thing! I hope everything is healed up and not sore tomorrow.

Hey guess what? While I haven’t done the offical Through the Lens assignment, I have been adjusting my white balance all day for different shots! I am SO excited! Plus, I finally finished my second reading of Scott Kelby’s Digital Photography book. Excellent reading, by the way.

    Have a great day, Hallie!

Ouch, a root canal sounds awful! I hope your family is feeding you lots of pudding and ice cream.

PS I’ve got my white balance shots all ready to go for Assignment 2, now I just have to catch the “good” shot :) . If I’d have been smart, I’d have done it yesterday when I was taking photos of my kids on a city bench after their haircuts (my WW is from that shoot). Oh well, there’s some fabulous bougainvillea blooming around my neighborhood that’s just screaming out to be photographed.

How cute! Momma just signed me up for a couple free issues of Photoshop User! I’m really excited! Also, just a couple weeks ago we signed up to get Layers Magazine.

I posted one of the photos of the toad. :D When you import photos into Lightroom, do you “import photos at their current location” or do you use another setting? I can’t decide which of the four options I should use. Any advice?
