Always half dressed and always on the go. I sure wish I had her energy.

If you are anything like me, you probably have some things lying around that you don’t really have use for anymore. They are probably in great condition, but you have been hesitant to get rid of them because you just don’t have the time or effort.
Maybe it’s just not worth listing them on EBay because it takes too much time and the fees are so high, you wouldn’t make a profit anyway, and maybe a tag sale won’t bring in what your items are worth.
Or maybe you have some handmade crafts listed on Etsy and you would like to add your link to get some more exposure….
If that is the case, then welcome to Blogside Shopping! I started thinking that there must be a better way to get rid of the things I am not using, or things I have made. Things that are in great shape that someone else might want or need.
I am hoping that this will be the first of many Blogside Shopping posts to come. If you would like to join me for Blogside Shopping, you need to do a few things….
1. Find the items you would like to sell.
2. Decide on the price you would like for your items.
3. Weigh your items and figure out the shipping costs you will charge.
4. Take photos of your items.
5. Use your PayPal account to generate a PayPal button to put on your blog, (directions here - scroll to bottom of page.)
6. Write your Blogside Shopping post. Add your photo, a description of your items, the cost and shipping charges, and add a PayPal button to each of your items.
7. Come back here and sign Mr. Linky. Make sure you enter the URL of your post, so people will not have to search through several pages to find it.
8. If you are joining in, please right click on the Blogside Shopping graphic and save it to your hard drive, so you can display it on your site or post. In other words, pass the word along. The more people that see this, the more items we will all sell.
9. When you have sold an item, make sure you go back to your original post and remove your PayPal button and mark your item sold.
10. Come back every Tuesday to join Blogside Shopping!
If your item does not sell, simply copy your post from the prior week; add or delete the items you have already sold and paste it into a new post. If your asking yourself, “Can’t I just use the same post and link up to next weeks Blogside Shopping?” Well, yes you can; however, the RSS feed will not pick up on changes to your old post. In other words, if you want new traffic, you should re-post your items into a new post each week.
If you have any questions, please email me and I will try to answer them. If not, go shopping!

This wooden bucket is one I painted a few years ago. It has never been used and has been packed away in storage. I have one that I use for my mailbox, (which is under the cover of the porch.) I would not leave it exposed to the elements, but mine is in perfect condition and I have used it as my mailbox for more than five years. You could also use this to hold kitchen items or small rolled hand towels.
Price: $20.00
Shipping: USPS Parcel Post $ 8.95
These forged iron hooks were purchased at Pier One. They make super kitchen towel holders and I have even used them to hang curtain rods. Two sets of three – $4.00 + $2.70 Shipping.

Hallie;
Hook me up with the hooks…I will pay hard cash…you have no idea of the weakness I have for forged iron! (my papa was a maker of such things)…I just sent my Knight out yesterday for some hooks…he came back empty handed.
I didn’t press buy it now…cuz I will see you Monday.
love you my sweet friend.
