This was taken in a sweet little town right near me called Wethersfield, CT. Wethersfield is the setting for the book written by Elizabeth George Speare, The Witch of Blackbird Pond.
Home to the Red Wethersfield Onion and founded by a group of Puritans in 1633, the streets are lined with very old homes and a rich history, that would make any visitor want to stay, well…at least hang out for awhile and have a cone on Main Street.

Very nice picture. I would love to come and visit and have a cone on main.

I’ve read that book with my son during school. It was a very good story.
I love being able to stop by and know that something new will be posted for me to look at. It’s a nice pick-me-up!
Have a great day!
Love,
Marie
PS How’s your mom doing?

What a wonderfully inviting spot. I’d love to join you for that cone, but can we sit on the dock and let our feet hang down instead of sitting on main street?
