Sunflowers for Wishes at Buttonwood Farm

July 19, 2008

It was too hot to trek closer with three babies in tow, so this was the best I could do.

But what a beautiful sight!

Wow, that is pretty Hallie! I can imagine that it really was breathtaking. Kind of reminds me of the field of poppies Dorothy ran through (block your ears Carrie ;-) in the Wizard of Oz. To think the Emerald City might have just been over the hill and you missed it, sigh…maybe we could sneak back on Monday after they are cut and visit that cute crying guy who answers the door. (I think we must be related…I could cry at the drop of a hat too!)

    Love the compostition…love you too.

I love the bright colors– although with the temps to 100 today, I think I prefer the other one with the “looks like maybe it will rain a little” colors. :-)

What a beautiful photo! Looks like an absolutely wonderful place. Sorry it was too hot to trek closer, though.
