It was too hot to trek closer with three babies in tow, so this was the best I could do.
But what a beautiful sight!

This was taken in a sweet little town right near me called Wethersfield, CT. Wethersfield is the setting for the book written by Elizabeth George Speare, The Witch of Blackbird Pond.
Home to the Red Wethersfield Onion and founded by a group of Puritans in 1633, the streets are lined with very old homes and a rich history, that would make any visitor want to stay, well…at least hang out for awhile and have a cone on Main Street.

I am a foodie. It’s not usually a problem for me at this point in my life because quite frankly, I have no time to cook, unless……someone turns on Food TV.
It’s a weakness. I can’t help myself.
This Roasted Corn and Avocado Salsa is what I made after watching Food TV for three minutes.
It was soooo good.
I ran right out to the grocery store for the ingredients and the next thing you know, we are swimming in dirty dishes.
No self control I tell ya.

I love this color combination. I always wanted a purplish house. At the very least a purplish door. I am definitely NOT a white wall kind of girl.
