Garden Goodies and Technical Problems

August 2, 2008

Well, I’m not sure what’s going on, but my blog won’t load in IE, so if you use IE to read my blog, you probably aren’t reading this.  If you are reading this in IE, please let me know, so I know if it’s affecting everyone.  UGH.  Internet Explorer can be such a pain!

Hopefully this will be resolved painlessly.

Something to try. Change your Document Type Definition to

You currently have it set to strict XHTML, but there is a lot of non-compliant code on the pages.

Not certain this is causing it to break in IE, but worth a shot.

hi, I’ve been reading for a while but never comment - only so much time in the day, you know how that goes. ;) But I was having the same problem as you, it was Sitemeter causing it for me. It’s crashing all sites on IE. See here - http://www.problogger.net/archives/2008/08/02/sitemeter-crashing-sites-when-viewed-with-ie7/

I don’t seem to be having any problems reading your blog. I use IE-7. You must have cleared it up.
Hope your week-end is going well.
