I was browsing through some images from last summer and I came across one that I had saved to edit at a later date.  Some serious adjustments were needed, so I put it off.  I worked a little PS magic on it and this is what I ended up with….

I tell you, I love the liquify tool!   B’s little cheeks were all misshapen from gravity, but liquify put her pretty face back together.

Gosh…now that I think of it, I would hate to see the freeze frame of my face on the trampoline.

And if you’re wondering, here’s what I did….

  • Liquify tool on the her cheeks to rectify the gravity pull
  • Clone tool to even skin
  • Selective color to remove color casts from grass
  • Pool Party 50%
  • Flare Up Faded 29%
  • Not So Magic Glasses 100%
  • Red filter 100%
  • Clare-ify 15%
  • Selective Hue/sat adjustment
  • Oh Snap 51%
  • Prettyizer 45%
  • Sharpen

The actions I used are  from Doug Boutwell at Get Totally Rad.  These are my ‘go to’ actions and they are used on nearly every shot.  Want to see more recipes?  Check out Totally Rad Recipes!

I see nothing more than a wall when I look at Legos, but not my children….they have vision.

While speaking to a friend on the phone the other day, I made mention of, “my baby girl.”

My friend sounded confused as to who I was referring to. But “my baby girl” knows who she is.

And if I call her peanut, or monkey, or any other pet name I have assigned her, she quickly reminds me what her real name is. “No, I’m your baby girl.”

Although, on certain occasions, she might possess the name ”Cinderella,” or “Princess,” I assure you, it’s only temporary.
